Tekla Bądarzewska, mówi Wam coś to nazwisko? Macie jakieś pierwsze skojarzenia? Jeżeli nie to powiem tak, w intercity grają Chopina, a w japońskich pociągach właśnie Teklę. Albo takie śmieciarki na Tajwanie, wszyscy wiedzą kiedy wynieść śmieci, bo słyszą Teklę z oddali. I może wydawać się to wszystko dość abstrakcyjne i dobrze, zapamiętacie na dłużej. Polecam zrobić mały przegląd Internetu w tym temacie, warto.
No ale co z tą Teklą? Otóż, nie dość, że jest to zapomniana polska pianistka, sława mieszkająca niegdyś na Muranowie, to jej imieniem nazwali skwer - nie boję się tego słowa - samo serce dzielnicy. I właśnie to centrum, ten piękny skrawek ziemi, obrałem za cel naszej najnowszej Varsovianistycznej wycieczki.
A jest to wycieczka nie byle jaka, bo współtworzona przez @muranowska_majowka , która odbywa się już w najbliższy weekend, między 16 a 18 maja. Jest to wydarzenie wyjątkowo bliskie naszemu redakcyjnemu sercu, bo opowiada o tym, o czym i my staramy się mówić od samego początku - zwiedzajcie swoje miasto, poznawajcie okolice i zaglądajcie w każdą witrynę, bo tam czai się to co w każdym mieście najcenniejsze. No i właśnie tą okładką mamy zaszczyt zaprosić Was wszystkich do odwiedzin Muranowa i zapoznania się z tym, co ma do zaproponowania już za kilka dni.

Z wykształcenia architekt krajobrazu, z zawodu ilustrator. Całe życie mieszka w Warszawie i tak się składa, że najciekawsze tematy na ilustracje, znajduje w zakamarkach stołecznych ulic. Najbardziej inspiruje go architektura i jej kontekst. Ma wyjątkową słabość do powojennego modernizmu, ale też do pstrokatego postmodernizmu. Po godzinach jeździ rowerem i robi zdjęcia starym aparatem.

He has lived in Warsaw all his life and it so happens that he finds the most interesting subjects for illustrations in the nooks and crannies of the capital's streets. He is most inspired by architecture and its context. He has a special weakness for post-war modernism, but also for motley post-modernism.
